Tour Brief

This itinerary is specially planned for the travelers who don’t want to sit on coach for long journey.
The tour departs with the two cities with its different atmosphere, colonial and cultural background. Yangon has the most colonial building in South-east Asia.

The magnificent ancient Bagan will be visited afterward. And the tour will end with amazing Inle Lake.
Experience your excursion in the plain land and hilly region in Myanmar. And enjoy the scenic beauty of Myanmar. Diverting boat ride in Inle and Mingun and horse carriage trip in old Bagan and Inwa are amusing and fascinating.

Note: One can experience the balloon ride in Bagan. It is available Oct to May, not included in tour itinerary.

Details Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Yangon! Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yangon

Day 2 in Yangon
In the morning your tour guide will take you full day sightseeing in Yangon. The tour starts at the city centre; You will be firstly introduced the Buddhism at the gilded Sule pagoda, dating back to 2000 years, next to the British-Burmese style city hall, then stroll around the colonial buildings and street vendors along the road. After visiting Botataung Pagoda, where you can see the relief chamber inside the pagoda, Kyauk-htet-gyi reclining Buddha, 72 m long and 19 m high, Karaweik Hall to observe the Burmese architecture, then China Town. Then visit to the magnificent Shwe-da-gon Pagoda both daylight and night light.

Day 3 Yangon- Mandalay
Today fly to the second largest city Mandalay, Burmese cultural centre. On the way to your hotel, visit U Pein teak bridge, silk weaving workshop and Mahar Gandaryon monastery, where over 1000 monks live, observe the monk life there. Then drive to Mandalay to check in your hotel. Here you will notice the different between Yangon and Mandalay, the people, the streets.
After lunch, continue your sightseeing to Mandalay royal Palace, Shwe Nan Daw monastery, the original building of Palace, Kutho Taw pagoda, the world’s biggest book and Sandar-muni Pagoda, for taking nice photo from there, then drive up the Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and sunset.

Day 4 Mandalay-Pyin Oo lwin

Day 5 Mandalay-Mingun
After breakfast, visit famous Mahar-muni Pagoda, stone carving, gold leaf work shop and Shwe-in-bin monastery. Ask your tour guide, if you want to experience sitting local tea shop, sitting at the tea shop is a part of Burmese life!
After lunch, you will make a short calm boat ride to Mingun across the Ayeyarwaddy. Relax on the private small boat for an hour,then you arrive Mingun. Visit giant Mingun pagoda, the third biggest Bell and Mya- thein-tan temple on foot. Today your day end up with beautiful sunset on boat.

Day 6 Mandalay-Bagan
Early morning you will be transferred to the jetty for cruising to Bagan. It takes about 8 hours to arrive in Bagan. Lunch will be on Board. Enjoy your journey along the countryside panorama. Relax and get nice sunbathing on board. Transfer to the hotel in the late evening.

Day 7 in Bagan
Visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, the most venerated one, Gu-pyauk gyi temple, very nice original fresco, Hti-lo-min-lo Temple, Kah-min-ga, for panoramic view, Ananda Temple, the finest art. After lunch, visit to the traditional Lacquer-ware workshop to observe how they make good quality Lacquer products, Manuhar Temple, where three huge seated Buddha and reclining Buddha are placed, Gubyauk gyi, the finest Fresco in Bagan temples, Shwe-gu-gyi, the best panoramic view at the evening. Then take a horse cart to Pya-that -gyi for sunset.

Day 8 in Bagan
You adjust the tour programme for today with your tour guide. A car, bicycles and our tour guide stand by for sightseeing. You can enjoy the sunrise from your hotel or near if you are fit and fresh in the morning and you can freely visit the temples by bicycle or visit some temple such as Su-lar-ma-ni, Dha-ma-yan-gyi, by car with our guide. Lunch will be at the nice river-side restaurant. Overnight in Bagan

Day 9 Bagan - Inle
Today you fly to Heho, the gateway for your excursion to the picturesque Inle, surrounded by the mountain ranges. On the way, photo stop at Shwe-yan-pyay wooden monastery. You arrive at the jetty to transfer to your Hotel on the lake by motor boat. After check in the hotel, explore the floating gardens and stilt-house villages, jumping cat monastery (ngaphe) and village life at Khaung-dein village. Go back to Hotel.

Day 10 Inle - Indein
This morning you make a boat ride to Indein through the floating garden, rice field, bamboo forest and monasteries beside. Very nice boat ride along the stream. Arrive at Indein pagoda complex, 1094 small temples around the main temple. Go back to the lake for Lunch. After lunch continue your tour to Inn-paw-kone village to visit silk weaving, Lotus weaving, cheroot workshop, blacksmith and the most venerated Phaw-daw-oo pagoda.

Day 11 Inle-Yangon
In the morning, visit one of the five day foods Market in Inlay. Then walk to the Taw-ya monastery, located on the small hill, to enjoy the scenery of Inle region. Back to hotel and make a pause. In the afternoon, leave the peaceful Inle region and fly back to Yangon.

Day 12 Your departure
Your guide will accompany to the Yangon International airport for your flight back home. You leave the wonderful Myanmar and very friendly Myanmar people. Your trip is end here.
