This itinerary is especially for those who want to visit Myanmar and Cambodia.

You will visit the main tour highlights of Myanmar: Your trip starts from Yangon where you can experience the colonial atmosphere by the colonial buildings and visit breathtaking Shwedagon pagoda. Explore the last royal city Mandalay and its environs including Amarapura and Mingun.

Bagan and Inle is also a must to visit during Myanmar trip. You will enjoy the unique atmosphere on Inle lake and its scenic beauty and Bagan with thousands of ancient red temples and pagoda in the plain land. It is unique in the world. Enjoy the wonderful panorama and beautiful sunset in Bagan.

From Inle, you will fly to the world famous place,Siem Reap,Cambodia. Siem Reap is located on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest sweet water reserve in whole Southeast Asia. It is the closest city to the world famous temples of Angkor. Visit Angor Wat and the tour will end in Phnom Pehn, the capital of Cambodia. Then return back to your home land.

Details Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Yangon
Arrival in Yangon! Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at a restaurant if it is included in the tour agreement. Overnight in Yangon!

Day 2 in Yangon
In the morning your tour guide will take you full day sightseeing in Yangon. The tour starts at the city centre; You will be firstly introduced the Buddhism at the gilded Sule pagoda, dating back to 2000 years, next to the British-Burmese style city hall, then stroll around the colonial buildings and street vendors along the road. After visiting Botataung Pagoda where you can see the relief chamber inside the pagoda, visit Kyauk-htet-gyi reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall to observe the Burmese architecture, visit China Town and magnificent Shwe-da-gon Pagoda in the late evening. Overnight in Yangon!

Day 3 Yangon- Mandalay
Fly to the second largest city Mandalay which is Burmese cultural centre. On the way to your hotel, visit U Pein teak bridge, silk weaving workshop and Mahar Gandaryon monastery, where over 1000 monks live, observe the monk life there. Then drive to Mandalay to check in your hotel. After lunch, continue your sightseeing to Mandalay royal Palace, Shwe Nan Daw monastery, the original building of Palace, Kutho Taw pagoda, the world’s biggest book and Sandar-muni Pagoda for taking nice photo from there, then drive up the Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and sunset. Overnight in Mandalay!

Day 4 Mandalay-Mingun
After breakfast, visit famous Mahar-muni Pagoda, stone carving, gold leaf work shop and Shwe-in-bin monastery. Ask your tour guide, if you want to experience sitting local tea shop as sitting at the local tea shop may something memorable. After lunch, you will make a short calm boat ride to Mingun across the Ayeyarwaddy. Relax on the private small boat for an hour, you arrive Mingun. Visit giant Mingun pagoda, the third biggest Bell and Mya- thein-tan temple on foot. Your day ends up with beautiful sunset on boat for today. Overnight in Mandalay!

Day 5 Mandalay-Bagan
Early morning, you will be transferred to the jetty for cruising to Bagan. It takes about 8 hours to arrive in Bagan. Lunch will be on Board. Enjoy your journey along the countryside panorama. Relax and get nice sunbathing on board. Transfer to the hotel in the late evening. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 6 in Bagan
Visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, the most venerated one, Gu-pyauk gyi temple with its very nice original fresco, Hti-lo-min-lo Temple, Kah-min-ga for panoramic view, Ananda Temple which is famous for its finest art. After lunch, visit to the traditional Lacquer-ware workshop to observe how they make good quality Lacquer products, Manuhar Temple, where three huge seated Buddha and reclining Buddha are placed, Gubyauk gyi to see the finest Fresco in Bagan temples, Shwe-gu-gyi which offers you the best panoramic view at the evening. Then take a horse cart to Pya-that -gyi for sunset. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 7.Bagan-Mt Popa
Depart for mt Popa. It takes about 1 ½ hours from Bagan to get there. Stop at the the local palm sugar work and Popa village on the way to Mt Popa. Upon arrival, take 777 steps to the top and enjoy the panoramic view of the Popa region. Return to Bagan in the afternoon. Visit some beautiful temples such as Su-lar-ma-ni, Dha-ma-yan-gyi in the evening until sunset. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 8. Bagan-Heho-Pindaya-Kalaw
Today you fly to Heho, then en route to Pindaya Cave where thousands of ancient Buddha are placed. After visiting Pindaya cave and region, continue to Kalaw by car. Check in the hotel in Kalaw. Overnight in Kalaw!

Day 9 - Light trekking around Kalaw!
Kalaw – Myin-sai-kone trekking for 15 km. It may take 6 h walk to visite the Palaung villages. Observe the traditional local houses and way of their lives and their plantations. Lunch at a local home and return to Kalaw!

Day 10 - Kalaw-Inle
After visiting Kalaw local market, continue to Inle about 2 h by car. On the way, photo stop at Shwe-yan-pyay wooden monastery. You arrive at the jetty to transfer to your Hotel on the lake by motor boat. After check in the hotel, explore the floating gardens and stilt-house villages, jumping cat monastery (ngaphe) and village life at Khaung-dein village. Go back to Hotel. Overnight on Inle lake!

Day 11.Inle-Indein
You take a boat ride to Indein through the floating garden, rice field, bamboo forest and monasteries. Very nice boat ride along the stream. Arrive at Indein pagoda complex, 1094 small temples around the main temple. Go back to the lake for Lunch. After lunch continue your tour to Inn-paw-kone village to visit silk weaving, Lotus weaving, cheroot workshop, blacksmith and the most venerated Phaw-daw-oo pagoda. Overnight on Inle lake!

Day 12.Inle-Yangon
In the morning, visit one of the five day foods Market in Inlay. Then walk to the Taw-ya monastery, located on the small hilllock, to enjoy the scenery of Inle region. Back to hotel and have leisure time in the whole afternoon. Overnight on Inle lake!

Day 13. Inle-Yangon-Departure to Siem Reap, Cambodia
Leave the peaceful Inle region and fly back to Yangon for your connection flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. You leave the wonderful Myanmar and very friendly people. Upon your arrival in Seam Reap, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 14. Siem Reap (Angkor Wat)
Visit the ancient capital, Angkor Thom(12th century) which includes Angkor's most popular sights. Visit the ruined Baphun, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas and mysterious Bayon Temple which is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces. Continue to the Terrace of the elephants and Terrace of the Leper Kings decorated with the dramatic bas relief. Enjoy the sunset from the upper terrace of the ancient temple. Return to hotel for check in. Overnight in Siem Reap !

Day 15. Siem Reap (Angkor Wat)
After breakfast at hotel, visit Angkor Wat – the 12th century masterpiece of Khmer architecture, is the national symbol and the highlight of any visit to Cambodia. The temple complex covers 81hectares. Visit Ta Prohm, which has been left untouched and was swallowed by the jungle. Afterward visit Preah Khan and Banteay Srei temple built in pink sandstone in 10th century which is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Overnight in Siem Reap!

Day 16. Siem Reap-Phnom Penh
After breakfast at hotel, visit the Silk Farm of Puok: see the different stages of the complet process of producing handmade silk and free time for shopping at the Artisan craft weaving workshop in Angkor. Visit to “Les Artisans d’Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles” and time leisure at local market (If time permits). After lunch, transfer to Siem Reap International airport for your flight to Phnom Penh, the capital and the largest city of Cambodia, with a visit to the famous Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Phnom Penh!

Day 17. Phnom Penh sightseeing full day
Visit to the Royal Palace, still the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoi and the adjacent Silver Pagoda, also known as the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha which floor is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum, which contains a comprehensive collection of Khmer Art. Visit Russian Market, a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquity products, jewelleries and various remarkable souvenirs from Cambodia. Visit the Victory Monument and the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts designed by Georges Groslier, French archaeologist and painter in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art. Enjoy the sunset from the Wat Phnom Temple. Overnight in Phnom Penh!

Day 18. Your Departure !
Breakfast at hotel. Leisure time and transfer to Phnom Penh International airport for departure flight back home. Your Myanmar Cambodia trip is ended!
