This program is the combination of Myanmar and Vietnam highlights. You will explore the flat plain land to mountain region of two countries and its rich culture by different transports of flight, car, cruise, boat, train. It is a worth trip to be.

You don’t miss any tour highlights in Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake in Myanmar. You fly to wonderful archiological site of Bagan and cruise to the cultural city of Myanmar, Mandalay. Then your tour continues to Inle by flight. Inle is situated 885 m above sea level and is surrounded by the stunning mountain ranges.

After 10 days visit in Myanmar, you fly to Hanoi, Vietnam. Visit Hanoi city and meet the hill tribes in Sapa by train. You return to Hanoi to take the beautiful boat trip to world famous Halong. Enjoy the beauty of Halong by local traditional boat.

Details Itinerary

Day 1. (Arrival in Yangon)
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yangon!

Day 2. in Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Your tour guide will take you full day sightseeing in Yangon. The tour starts at the city centre. You will be firstly introduced the Buddhism at the gilded Sule pagoda, dating back to 2000 years. Then stroll around the colonial buildings and street vendors along the road. Visit Botataung Pagoda where you can see the relief chamber inside the pagoda, Kyauk-htet-gyi reclining Buddha, 72 m long and 19 m high, Karaweik Hall to observe the Burmese architecture, then China Town. Visit to the magnificent Shwe-da-gon Pagoda in the late evening. Overnight in Yangon!

Day 3. Yangon- Mandalay
Today fly to the second largest city Mandalay, Burmese cultural centre. On the way to your hotel, visit U Pein teak bridge, silk weaving workshop and Mahar Gandaryon monastery, where over 1000 monks live, observe the monk life there. Then continue to Mandalay to check in your hotel. After lunch, continue your sightseeing to Mandalay royal Palace, Shwe Nan Daw monastery, the original building of Palace, Kutho Taw pagoda, the world’s biggest book and Sandar-muni Pagoda, for taking nice photo from there, then drive up the Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and sunset. Overnight in Mandalay!

Day 4. Mandalay-Mingun
After breakfast, visit famous Mahar-muni Pagoda, stone carving, gold leaf work shop and Shwe-in-bin monastery. Ask your tour guide, if you want to experience sitting local tea shop, sitting at the tea shop is a part of Burmese life! After lunch, you will make a short calm boat ride to Mingun across the Ayeyarwaddy. Relax on the private small boat for an hour,then you arrive Mingun. Visit giant Mingun pagoda, the third biggest Bell and Mya- thein-tan temple on foot. Today your day end up with beautiful sunset on boat. Back to hotel and overnight in Mandalay!

Day 5. Mandalay-Bagan
Early morning you will be transferred to the jetty for cruising to Bagan. It takes about 8 hours to arrive in Bagan. Lunch will be on Board. Enjoy your journey along the countryside panorama. Relax and get nice sunbathing on board. Transfer to the hotel in the late evening. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 6. in Bagan
Visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, the most venerated one, Gu-pyauk gyi temple, very nice original fresco, Hti-lo-min-lo Temple, Kah-min-ga, for panoramic view, Ananda Temple, the finest art. After lunch, visit to the traditional Lacquer-ware workshop to observe how they make good quality Lacquer products, Manuhar Temple, where three huge seated Buddha and reclining Buddha are placed, Gubyauk gyi, the finest Fresco in Bagan temples, Shwe-gu-gyi, the best panoramic view at the evening. Then take a horse cart to Pya-that -gyi for sunset. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 7. Bagan-Mt Popa
You adjust the tour programme for today with your tour guide. A car, bicycles and our tour guide stand by for sightseeing. You can enjoy the sunrise from your hotel or near if you are fit and fresh in the morning and you can freely visit the temples by bicycle or visit some temple such as Su-lar-ma-ni, Dha-ma-yan-gyi, by car with our guide. Overnight in Bagan!

Day 8. Bagan-Inle
Fly to Heho, the gateway for your excursion to the picturesque Inle, surrounded by the mountain ranges. Photo stop at on the way Shwe-yan-pyay wooden monastery. You arrive in the jetty to transfer to your Hotel on the lake by motor boat. After checking in the hotel, explore the floating gardens and stilt-house villages, jumping cat monastery (ngaphe) and village life at Khaung-dein village. Go back to hotel. Overnight in Inle

Day 9. Inle - Indein
You take a boat ride to Indein through the floating gardens, rice fields, bamboo forest and the monasteries. It is very pleasant boat ride a long the stream. Arrive in Indein pagoda complex, 1094 small temples around the main temple. Go back to the lake for lunch. Continue your tour to Inn-paw-kone village after lunch to visit silk weaving, Lotus weaving, cheroot workshop, blacksmith and the most venerated Phaw-daw-oo pagoda. Overnight in Inle

Day 10. Inle-Yangon-Departure to Hanoi
Leave the peaceful Inle region and fly back to Yangon for your connection flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. You leave the wonderful Myanmar and very friendly people. Upon your arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11. Hanoi City tour
Hanoi, a very attractive city in French-style architecture, it is capital of Vietnam. Visit to one Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and Hoan Kiem Lake. Continue your city tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the opera house and St. Joseph Cathedral. Visit to Bao Tang Lich, the museum which held the vietnam's turbulent history. Visit the old quarter in the evening. Depart to Lao Cai by train. The luxury Victoria Express departs at 22:00pm and overnight on train.

Day 12. Sapa
Arrival in Lao Cai train station at 06:00. Then transfer to Sapa (11/2h for 33km). Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy a free morning to explore around the town. In the afternoon take a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat homed to the H'mong hill tribes. Meet the local hill tribes in the villages. Return back to the hotel and overnight in Sapa.

Day 13. Sapa Bancha market-Hanoi (train)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then go to a stunning spectacular of bobbling bazaar. Bacha is one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in northern Vietnam. Experience a pleasant walk to Ban Pho village homed to H'mong people. Meet with friendly local people and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Transfer to Laocai station and depart for Hanoi by train. Overnight in Victoria Express train.

Day 14. Hanoi-Halong Bay Cruise stay overnight on Board
En route to Halong Bay, one of the most magnificent scenic sites in the world dotted with more than 3,000 limestone peaks in the blue ocean. Explore Halong site from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat featured hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths. Visit the most beautiful spots including the largest rock formations and caves. Overnight on Boat.

Day 15. Halong Bay Cruise-Hanoi
Enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising on the bay from the upper deck. After breakfast time, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. Cruise ahead to the jetty through this amazing bay. Drive back to Hanoi. Take sightseeing in the Old Quarter of Hanoi in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 16. Departure
Transfer to the airport before your return flight home. Your unforgettable Vietnam & Cambodia trip is end.
